In the Electric Mist (French title: Dans la brume électrique) is a 2009 Franco-American mystical drama filmdirected by Bertrand Tavernier, written by Jerzy Kromolowski and Mary Olson-Kromolowski based on the novel In the Electric Mist with Confederate Dead by James Lee Burke, and stars Tommy Lee Jones in the lead role of Louisiana police detective Dave Robicheaux.

A detective in post-Katrina New Orleans has a series of surreal encounters with a troop of friendly Confederate soldiers while investigating serial killings of local prostitutes, a 1965 lynching, and corrupt local businessmen.
